About
RateShare is a social app where everything is ratable. Posts, obviously. But also comments. And ratings. And ratings of ratings. If you can see it, you can pass judgment on it, and someone can pass judgment on your judgment. This continues for as long as anyone has the energy.
The idea comes from a notebook sketch drawn in 2013, back when “what if the internet had opinions about its opinions” felt like a joke rather than a description of the internet. It sat in a drawer for a decade. It should probably have stayed there. It didn’t.
Every verdict lands on a five-point scale from -2 to +2: Terrible take, Nah, Mid, Decent, Certified banger. No hearts, no vague thumbs. You commit to a number and the number is public.
Threads live in the Room — a canvas where a conversation spreads out spatially instead of collapsing into an infinite scroll. You can see the whole argument at once, including the exact moment it went sideways.
RateShare is built and run by one person, which explains both the speed of new features and the occasional absence of old ones.
Rate this page. Then rate your rating.
